Iso E Super was the first aroma chemical I ever bought, and I ordered it out of pure curiosity. When it arrived, I was hooked. It smelled clean, velvety, woody, cedar-like, and a little ghostly. I couldn’t get enough of it and often wore it neat. But after a few minutes, I would stop smelling it, only for it to return in sudden, fleeting whiffs throughout the day as my nose reset.
That experience fascinated me. I wanted to see if I could build something that kept the beauty of Iso E Super alive while avoiding that “vanishing act.” Over the past year and a half, I’ve been experimenting and refining, looking for ways to make it stronger, longer lasting, and easier to detect for most people.
The result is ARGON. Simple in idea but difficult in execution. Clean, subtle, and present in a way that feels modern and elemental, like the noble gas it’s named after.
ARGON works both as a standalone scent and as a layer to enhance your other fragrances. It’s versatile, understated, and designed to become part of you rather than sit on top of you.
One thing I find especially interesting is how your nose can learn this fragrance over time. Even if you don’t smell it clearly right away, repeated wear helps train your senses to recognize it more and more. That slow reveal is part of the magic.
