My goal with this was to create a vanilla based fragrance I would personally enjoy. I wanted to avoid the classic sweet, creamy, scented-candle style vanilla and create something that pays reverence to vanilla in a different way.
Beyond the obvious Vanilla / Vanadium connection, I wanted to respect how Vanadium is used in the real world. It is added to steel alloys in small amounts to provide toughness and resistance to corrosion. I see vanilla the same way in perfumery: it acts as an underlying bond, providing a long-lasting structure that makes every other ingredient better.
I opted for a dry, woody vanilla that projects with clarity but without the typical sugary weight. I then added flashes of red and purple fruit to provide intrigue in the opening, alloyed with subtle green and blue notes. This is my nod to the various oxidation states of Vanadium, which produce some of the most vibrant colors in chemistry.

A clean, warm, and comforting fragrance I first crafted for myself- and soon discovered others couldn’t help but ask about. While wearing it on sunny days, strangers would stop me and say, “That smells amazing … where can I get it?” Until now, my only answer was, “Oh, I actually made this myself!”
Helium is the perfume that inspired me to share my creations with you.
This wears close to the skin, something you'll get wafts of as you go about your day. However, those around you will notice its gentle glow whenever you pass by or sit close them. Like a transparent cloud, it drifts in and out with your every movement. Exceptionally long-lasting on skin, and even more tenacious on clothes.

Carbon represents the primal facets of the element, focusing on the deep, driving urges of life. The composition is anchored by blackened birch tar to evoke charred remains, layered with a heretical frankincense that suggests a corrupted, visceral holiness. It evolves through the scent of spilled whiskey and dark, fruity cocktails, leading to raw animalic notes and black leather, all supported by a base of opulent labdanum resin.
Powerful, gothic, and a little dangerous. Carbon reveals a hidden beauty for those willing to embrace the element required for all life as we know it.

This formula took me two years to refine. While I have always loved blue, fresh, and clean scents, I wanted to take the concept in a direction that provides a physically cold, crisp experience. This is not a linear fragrance. I chose to lean into the evolution of the dry down, which in this case could be called a "melt down." As the composition warms and evaporates, it reveals new notes that were previously locked within an icy core.
My goal was to replicate the frigid mist rising from a freshly filled beaker of liquid nitrogen on a stainless steel lab bench. It is the scent of flash-freezing roses and shattering them to demonstrate how matter changes at cryogenic temperatures. Initially, the fragrance hits with the frostbite of a sharp minty accord. As the frost begins to sublimate, a sparkling, icy grapefruit emerges. This citrus then dissolves into fresh, transparent shards of rose petals.
Finally, the rose gives way to the impressions of stainless steel, polished glass, and high-tech equipment. These notes form the foundation that remains after the ice has melted away.

A Tribute to Iso E Super - My favorite aroma molecule.

Iso E Super was the first aroma chemical I ever bought, and I ordered it out of pure curiosity. When it arrived, I was hooked. It smelled clean, velvety, woody, cedar-like, and a little ghostly. I couldn’t get enough of it and often wore it neat. But after a few minutes, I would stop smelling it, only for it to return in sudden, fleeting whiffs throughout the day as my nose reset.
That experience fascinated me. I wanted to see if I could build something that kept the beauty of Iso E Super alive while avoiding that “vanishing act.” Over the past year and a half, I’ve been experimenting and refining, looking for ways to make it stronger, longer lasting, and easier to detect for most people.
The result is ARGON. Simple in idea but difficult in execution. Clean, subtle, and present in a way that feels modern and elemental, like the noble gas it’s named after.
ARGON works both as a standalone scent and as a layer to enhance your other fragrances. It’s versatile, understated, and designed to become part of you rather than sit on top of you.
One thing I find especially interesting is how your nose can learn this fragrance over time. Even if you don’t smell it clearly right away, repeated wear helps train your senses to recognize it more and more. That slow reveal is part of the magic.
